You can use bottled water, it will need to be rotated at least every 6 months. Sterile water is also for sale in 4oz packages, which have a duration of 5-6 years. If you don’t have enough water, include a small water filter (such as LifeStraw).
- Enough food for 4 days (9-12 servings)
- MRE meals (meals used by soldiers) are very convenient, they are already prepared and ready to eat and you only need 1 meal a day (2,000 calories)
- Nutrition bars, seeds, dried fruits, cereals, shakes, etc.
